It’s back to school time! Want to know a dirty little historical secret? Education, has always been political in the United States. Who gets to learn? Who gets to teach? What do we teach, and sometimes most controversial, how do we pay for it? It is said that rich and powerful legislators are attacking some of the most vulnerable in society, but sadly, that’s not new either. For GPM this month, I give an update on my political predictions from January. I do think this will be my last overtly political piece of the year.
